Hey, I am also a comic book collector. What titles do you like to collect?

FREE Comic Book Day sure is a good way to get others introduced to comic books as well as get some book yourself - just to see what's out there on the up-and-coming market.

We have a couple of local comic book stores where I'm at, I think I'll venture out with my son and see what they have. Thanks for the tip.

Over the years I've collected various titles, but mostly non-mainstream. I have around 15 years of every Star Wars title published, so that's the biggest part of my collection.

But Astro City is awesome (though sporadic), and I follow Strazinski as an author (Rising Stars, Squadron Supreme, several years of Spider Man and now Thor).

I've been getting the new Moon Knight, but it is pretty odd and I was hoping for something more like the original (I have almost all the originals).

And I pick up random other stuff that looks interesting or that my friends or comic buyer recommends. It is well worth building a relationship with a good comic store/buyer (in my case Source Comics and Games).

Wow! I can't believe Rockford is a comic book guy! I am also, although in recent years my buying has almost dried up. I've was a FoxPro guy from 1992-2000, and a few years ago I switched to Java and finally to C#.

It's neat hearing this. And you have good taste in comics to boot!
