Bill Vaughn and I were recorded live at Dev Connections in Orlando for a .NET Rocks interview. As always, .NET Rocks is a whole lot of fun, and recording live is even more fun, so check it out!

This particular show was a blast to listen to. I'm really looking forward to the future release of Expert One-On-One Business Services ;-)

I really enjoyed this show. I was getting giddy as Carl started to dive into SOA and your objections Rocky!!! Unfortunately, as so often happens in radio, the point was sidetracked. I was hoping for a blog entry high level Rocky critique of SOA as it currently stands, plus any possible value you may see in SOA given a set of assumptions about what the future holds. What do you think?

Just read your article Intersection of Objects and Services. I would like to hear you elaborate on the problems with services coopting components. Are you saying, in general, components should be developed using web services, remoting and similar technologies, while services should be viewed only within the context of messaging? Is one of the dangers of service coopting components that the messaging paradigm won't be adequately explored/implemented by vendors?
