CSLA 4 release candidate 0 is now available for download from http://www.lhotka.net/cslanet/download.aspx

We are rapidly closing in on the final release of CSLA 4 with support for .NET 4, Silverlight 4 and Visual Studio 2010. This is primarily a bug fix release, and should be very stable.

There are a couple new enhancements to the ASP.NET MVC support, and a handful of bug fixes focused primarily on XAML data binding and the new business rules system.

Assuming no major issues are discovered in this release candidate in the next week or so, I expect CSLA 4 to release around July 19.

This is great news Rocky, thank you!!! I have been using CSLA 4, for Silverlight, for a few months now (along with your MVVM) and everything is going "really" well. I honestly don't think I could have achieved such a complex Silverlight application without the use of your awesome framework. 2010 marks my 11th year of continuous use of the csla framework (in one form or another). I am also excited to use csla 4 in an upcoming MVC project.

I had a quick question about Windows Phone 7. I am currently looking into Windows Phone 7 development and I was wondering what your roadmap is for csla in regards to WP7? I'm sure you get asked this all the time, but, I haven't read about this in your blog. I was curious to learn your take on the level of difficulty in going from SL to WP7 ... Have you toyed around with WP7? What are some of the hurdles in using csla, when it comes to WP7?

Best regards,
Chris
